Bec Church My friends and I booked for lunch last weekend, the service was excellent and the food was amazing, worth the drive just for the entree! As a group, we are quite discerning and we enjoyed each course and drink. Hard to find this quality and service around now. Thanks! Oscar Villalobos If you are looking for a refined yet relaxed spot to escape the hustle of the main street, Gisborne Food & Wine Co. is a standout choice. Situated conveniently near the local shops but tucked away enough to offer a peaceful atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for a quiet lunch or a focused afternoon glass of wine. The Highlights Atmosphere: The venue is impressively clean and modern, featuring a contemporary aesthetic that feels upscale without being pretentious. It strikes a great balance between a sophisticated wine cellar and a welcoming bistro. Service: One of the most consistent aspects of the experience is the great and friendly service. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, always ready with a recommendation whether you are a seasoned oenophile or just stopping by for a quick bite. Location: Its proximity to the shopping precinct makes it incredibly convenient for locals and visitors alike. Despite being so close to the action, it remains a quiet place, allowing for actual conversation without having to shout over background noise. Why Visit? Whether you're stopping in to browse their curated selection of local and international wines or sitting down for a platter, the quality of the environment matches the quality of the menu. It is a polished, well-maintained gem in the heart of Gisborne. Molly McKenzie Amazing food and service!!! Orane Sergant The service and food were perfect, I highly recommend it !! Giulia Kraycer We couldn’t fault our experience. Food was wonderful, service was good too. Lovely little place. Catered to dietary requirements well too. Michelle “Michelle” Coloni Definitely worth visiting for a meal. We went with friends who are locals to the area and we had the Salmon with salad and chips and the ribs with slaw and chips. We would have tried one of their desserts, which we were told were very nice, but we were full after an entree of pita bread with dips (spicy capsicum and beetroot were our choices on the night) and then the mains following it. Maybe next time. If you like generous, well presented and very tasty meals, definitely go for a visit. Compliments to the chef! warwick greville Server was great, food was great, even with a few food issues, the staff handled it superbly. We went on a Thursday for lunch. Scrat We had a wonderful experience here. Staff was genuinely helpful and gave us good recommendation for the food. As you can see from the photo, the plate is wiped clean 🤣 My favourite dish would probably be the crispy pork. I would like to try the seafood platter next time. The only disappointment was there were no dessert today which is surprising.Google rating score: 4.4 of 5, based on 241 reviews
